Motivating Short Stories

Many people were inspired by seeing Sara’s hard work. Sara continued the path of work and never had intentions to marry or have children and lead a family life. She wished to work for the betterment of the lives of orphaned and the abandoned.  She had a small team under her who helped her out in social work. They decided to cook more food at the care home so that they could offer the excess food to those who visit the care home for food. Sara decided to do such a thing as she began getting many requests from poor people for providing food. Soon, they began serving food to the needy. A small queue would form at the care home where the needy would collect the food and eat it there itself on the premises or they take it home to feed themselves and their family. This became the talk of the town and many people began to donate and sponsor for the meals and for additional expenses to run the care home as well as to take care of the people who lived there.  Sara proves to the society...

Sara had a great idea on how to proceed forward. She spoke to her friends from the University and decided to conduct a charity event where the good Samaritans could donate to the congregation for building a care home. Various types of stalls were opened at the charity event that sold rosaries, cross made of elaborate wood and intricate designs and even food as well as lemonade so that they could accumulate the funds necessary for building the care home.  The event became a huge hit and they were able to accumulate more money than they had expected. One of the famous builders approached the sisters and showed interest in building the care home with an orphanage for free as he and his family believed that they would get good fortune for doing such a kind deed. He told them to utilize the accumulated money for furnishing the building.  Sara was on cloud nine and thanked the builder and told him that God would definitely recognize her efforts and bless him as well as his family. Sara grew up at a convent and was raised by the sisters. She was told that she was abandoned as an infant on the doorsteps of the convent on a chilly morning. Sisters heard the baby's cry and found her wrapped up in a cloth within a wicker basket with a note. The note read, “I cannot take care of this baby and couldn't think of any other safe place for her to grow up than in this convent.”.  The sisters were shocked and felt bad for the baby. They decided to adopt the child after discussing it at the congregation. As sisters took care of her, Sara grew up as a God -fearing child. The mother of the convent had a special attachment to Sara and gave her the permission to graduate in any subject she liked.  Sara, since childhood, always wanted to help the abandoned children. They were all happily eating, drinking and dancing the night. Kara rushed into the pub and decided to attack Millie. She told how poor people were banned from celebrating anything or even partying for that matter. She claimed that it was all allowed for rich people like her as they decided how the rules should work, and not the poor losers like Millie and her friends. Kara was shocked and pained inside to see Millie walking into an expensive suite room and closing the door. Millie was excited as the weekend was nearing. She had completed most of her work and was eager to run off to her house and pack for the vacation ahead of her. Finally, the time came for her to leave the office and rush home excitedly.  She worked in a corporate office and was looking forward to taking a vacation as her leaves were accumulating and she wanted to relax and eliminate stress from her system. Her initial plan was to visit her parents back at her hometown and spend some time with her old friends as well as her parents. However, the plans changed as her parents had made plans to go on a vacation as it had been many years since they had gone for an exclusive trip as a couple.  Hence, Millie decided that she would go on a vacation on her own so that she could relax, explore the city, mingle with people and see various places as a normal tourist would do. Problem arose when Chris received a job offer from one of the truck driving companies. One trip could bring in better money. Hence, he was in chaos whether to take up the job or to politely decline the same. He decided to speak about the job offer with his father. His father was disappointed to hear about the job offer but asked him about his decision. Chris told his father about the solution for the issue he had in mind. He wished to take up truck driving from one destination to the other on weekends so that he could make some extra income for the family. Chris was a farmer's son and had dreams of owning and handling a farm of his own. His father, William, however wanted his son to get educated and then help him out with his work in the fields as he was getting old. Chris had the passion to work hard and he got all of it from his dad.  Clara, his mother, loved baking sweets and pastries. Chris graduated from a local community college and thought of working along with his father and saving up money so that he could do something good for his parents. Chris had an idea about selling the harvest in a small shop set-up in front of their barn so that  people could directly buy from them. He also had milk, eggs and other dairy products for sale along with the he freshly harvested fruits and vegetables.  He saved up quite a lot and opened a small bakery where his mom sold baked bread, cookies and cakes.
