Live your life, ignore negativity around you! - Part 2

Millie was shocked to find her classmate from the university, Kara, who was browsing the fashion catalogs. Kara looked up and saw Millie who stood frozen near the lobby. With a questionable grin, Kara stared down at Millie who was dressed well. 

Kara was curious to know how Millie was there in Paris as she was too poor to afford even her education . Millie just tried to ignore Kara and decided to walk towards her room. However, Kara decided to follow her. Kara was shocked and pained inside to see Millie walking into an expensive suite room and closing the door. Kara was furious and wanted to know very badly how Millie could even afford traveling to Paris, let alone staying at the best suite the hotel had to offer. 

Millie decided to speak to one of her old flings who worked at the reception and found out that Millie had paid for the room well in advance. Kara gathered information about Millie and found out that she was happily married recently. She also found out that her husband was the CEO of a startup that rose to be the one among top companies in the world.  Kara seethed with jealousy and anger and she never imagined Millie would get such a good “catch” as her husband.

Kara began stalking Millie’s husband, Mark, and decided to woo him and get Millie kicked out from his life. She began creating situations to try and woo Mark. However, he was not falling for any of Kara's tricks. 

One day Kara decided to meet Millie and found out that she would be having her breakfast alone in a posh restaurant. She found that Millie was busy talking to some professionals. Kara waited until the men left and walked confidently towards Millie. 

Kara told her how she found out that Mark was the CEO of a great company and how she wooed him and convinced him to divorce Millie and kick her to the curb. Kara told how she hated Millie as she was poor and even told her that poor people should always remain poor while rich people like Kara should always stay rich and enjoy life. 

Millie just gave a smile and sat calmly at her table. She continued having her breakfast. This angered Kara even more. She attacked Millie by trying to strangulate her. The staff in the hotel rushed to the spot and helped Millie from the grasp of Kara. Kara was arrested on the spot and Millie was rushed into a hospital.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
