Mr. Bowman Jr. was on the moon when he heard the news that he had been appointed as the CEO of one of the top car manufacturing companies in the world. His father, the founder of the company, personally handed over the appointment letter to him. He had worked so hard to achieve this result which he was looking forward to. He decided to celebrate the event with his family and friends.
Ms. Bowman Jr., the wife, was shocked to hear the news. She never had dreamed in her life that Mr. Bowman Jr. would become the CEO of the company. She had heard many complaints about her husband on how he used to slack at work and never listen to anyone's advice for the growth of the company.
Mr. Bowman Jr. had a major problem in hand. It was none other than his declining health and morbidly obese condition. His wife had told him several times about considering healthy eating and working out but he was very lazy and played video games whenever he was at home.
He also ate meat, fish and bread as part of his daily diet. He never consumed vegetables or fruits as he hated it. Mr. Bowman Jr. had a son who recently graduated from the University. He was interested in building from scratch just like his grandpa. He wished that his father would initially fund the startup but Mr. Bowman Jr. ignored his own son, Ben, and was immersed in the new-found power he had just received.
In a span of a few months, the prestigious company began its downfall. Mr. Bowman Jr. rarely visited the office and was least interested in holding meetings with partners. Slowly, partners began backing out from the company.
Mr. Bowman, the grandpa spoke to Ben and told him how he did a grave mistake of handing over the company's control to his son and how he realizes that it was a grave mistake.
One morning, Ms. Bowman picked up the call as the phone began ringing. As she spoke, color from her face began to drain out. The phone fell off from her hand and she began crying inconsolably. Ben heard this and rushed to his mom.
