Children are a gift from God - Part 2

Against all odds, both Keya and Kevin decided to get married thinking that they could sort out any problem that might arise in the future when it comes to kids. 

They had a great marriage as well as an awesome honeymoon. Things were going great for both of them while one day accidentally, Keya found out that something was odd for her. She immediately grabbed a pregnancy test and it came as negative. She had a sigh of relief but however wanted to confirm the same. Her best friend was an obgyn and decided to visit her. Her friend had a small doubt at the back of her mind and asked her to visit the clinic by next week to confirm the pregnancy. 

Keya was tense and had least interest in having a child. She intended to hide it from Kevin. However, Kevin had sensed that something was wrong. He tried asking her about the issue and she tried evading it. Kevin heard her speaking over the phone to her friend about the appointment. He decided to follow her and find out. Keya wore back her clothes after the checkup. Her friend happily told her how she was about to be a mother and how exciting it would be to begin such a journey. 

Keya was shocked and began crying. She told her friend about how she hated kids and never wanted to have kids as they made a lot of noise and irritated people by asking a lot of questions. Her friend was shocked. She told her how she wouldn't be born had her mother decided to abort or had no intentions of having her. She told how important a child is in one's life and how her husband might wish to have children of his own with her. 

Keya thought of how Kevin spoke about wanting to have kids of his own. She was determined and told her how sorry and ashamed she was feeling about her behavior. She realized that she was selfish and never thought about building a family with someone she loves and someone who lives her back. Kevin shed a glistening year from his eye as he was happy that she realized what she would miss out in a life without kids.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
