Farmers sustain the mankind - Part 2

Problem arose when Chris received a job offer from one of the truck driving companies. One trip could bring in better money. Hence, he was in chaos whether to take up the job or to politely decline the same. He decided to speak about the job offer with his father. His father was disappointed to hear about the job offer but asked him about his decision. Chris told his father about the solution for the issue he had in mind. He wished to take up truck driving from one destination to the other on weekends so that he could make some extra income for the family. Both of his parents thought about it and told that it was a great decision.

Chris was happy and decided to go ahead with his plan. He soon met his childhood friend after a long time. They worked it out, got married and we're staying next door from his parents’ place so that his wife, Ella and himself could go over to his parents' farm and help them out. Life was smooth. Chris has two kids and continues his truck driving on weekends. He took off from driving during certain weeks where he would spend time with his family and kids. 

Once, he drove the truck to its destination and was chatting with one of the employees who were unloading the cargo from the truck. They talked about how the city life was appealing and they wished that the villages would be replaced with cities soon. However, he had a different opinion. He talked about how farmers are important and how tough it is for  people to survive without farming and producing food. 

Farmers are essential to sustain mankind. If cities thrive, it is because farmers also play an important role. If farmers don't produce and send the food supplies to cities, how would people in the city survive? Hence, farmers are very important and should be respected for the hard work they do.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
