Sara grew up at a convent and was raised by the sisters. She was told that she was abandoned as an infant on the doorsteps of the convent on a chilly morning. Sisters heard the baby's cry and found her wrapped up in a cloth within a wicker basket with a note. The note read, “I cannot take care of this baby and couldn't think of any other safe place for her to grow up than in this convent.”.
The sisters were shocked and felt bad for the baby. They decided to adopt the child after discussing it at the congregation. As sisters took care of her, Sara grew up as a God -fearing child. The mother of the convent had a special attachment to Sara and gave her the permission to graduate in any subject she liked.
Sara, since childhood, always wanted to help the abandoned children. She used to tell the sisters that she always has them but wished to help other orphan kids too. Sara graduated and started working as a social worker under the guidance of sisters in the convent.
Sara spoke to the mother at the congregation and discussed her idea. She wished to open up an orphanage and care home to care for abandoned and orphan people (children and adults alike). Mother told her that it was a great idea but they needed permission from the congregation as well as the funds for the same. The congregation was not against opening a care home but wanted them to find half of the fund and when they successfully found it, the congregation would provide with the other half of the fund so that they could purchase or build a care home.
It was then decided by the congregation after various meetings that they would provide the land for the same but the sisters will have to find funds or get help to build the care home. Sara had a great idea on how to proceed forward.
