Ashley's parents immediately rushed to the hospital she was admitted to. She was lucky that there were no major injuries. However, a text from Amie surprised Ashley.  It said that Amie was so glad that Ashley got into an accident. She wished that Ashley would have died from the crash rather than surviving. Ashley was doing a part time job so that she could earn money to graduate from medical school. Her best friend, Amie, was enrolled in a prestigious university and it would take her almost 8 hours to reach their hometown. Ashley's parents and Amie’s parents were very good friends and thus were neighbors.  When they began their high school, Amie started making fun of Ashley and began comparing both of them. Amie believed that she was more pretty, rich and intelligent when compared to Ashley. Ashley knew that all of this was happening as she had a different peer group who claimed to be her friends.   Life was going smoothly for all of them. Alvin had children as well as Abby. They used to make sure to meet up with their parents at their house to have some great family time every weekend so that the bond between every member remained strong.  Mr. George Finley handed over most of the responsibilities to Abby and was resting at home having a good time with his wife. The liver transplantation was carried out successfully. Ruby was recovering from the surgery but was desperate to drink and smoke. However, Alvin told her that the donor was Abby. This made Ruby's heart melt and she thanked her daughter and son for taking care of her even when she was rude to them.  Ruby promised to both of her children that she would enroll in a de-addiction center as soon as she gets discharged from the hospital. As promised, Ruby went into one of the best de-addiction centers in the city. Alvin was working as a doctor in a reputed hospital for a few years while Abby continued working successfully for her father by handling few responsibilities. Mr. George, even though was relieved from certain responsibilities, was also busy managing his company.  However, one day, Ms. Ruby collapsed and fell while she was hosting a party at their house. The staff at home immediately seeked medical help and informed all of the family members. Alvin informed the staff at home to rush her into the hospital he was working at. Ms. Ruby Finley, the wife of a great business tycoon, loved to party and hangout with her gang of friends. For her, almost everyday was a party and amidst all of this, she rarely thought about her kids. Her favorite pastime was to smoke and drink.
