How a bad habit could kill - Part 2

One day, Abby lost her cool and asked her father why he never did anything to help their mother get out of the addiction. Mr. George asked both his children to take a seat across from him to explain everything. He told about how he tried to stop the addiction multiple times and was finally warned by Ms. Ruby said that she would never stop the addiction and told that if he try anymore, that she would abandon both him and the children. 

Abby and Alvin tried to speak to Ms. Ruby but were only met with a cold shoulder. She told them never to interfere in her personal matters. 

Alvin went on to graduate in medicine and also specialized in general medicine.  Abby, who was just one year younger to Alvin, completed her business studies. She was selected from the campus to work in one of the best corporate offices in the city. However, the recruiters were not aware that her father was a business tycoon. She always wished to work hard and achieve success as a result of the hard work.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
