How a bad habit could kill - Part 5

 Life was going smoothly for all of them. Alvin had children as well as Abby. They used to make sure to meet up with their parents at their house to have some great family time every weekend so that the bond between every member remained strong. 

Mr. George Finley handed over most of the responsibilities to Abby and was resting at home having a good time with his wife. They used to go frequently for many foreign trips and we're enjoying their retirement lives. 

Alvin was a successful and most sought after doctor in his field. However, he had made it mandatory to keep a check of everyone's health quite frequently so that they could eliminate any health issue if detected early. 

As health checks progressed, everyone were certified to be healthy other than Ms. Ruby. An abnormal growth was detected within her mouth. However, the biopsy results baffled the happy family. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and there was nothing much that could be done as she was already a senior citizen. 

Alvin was heartbroken and never knew how to break the news to the family. He managed to tell this to Abby who was an emotional wreck. They devised a plan and decided to provide the family with a home cooked lunch the next day and then break the news to everyone. 

However, Ms. Ruby never woke up from her peaceful slumber to see the morning. She had unfortunately passed away in her sleep without knowing anything about the issue she had.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
