Pam also told her parents that she is cutting them off from her life and no one is allowed to meet her children or husband for anything. Paul's parents were shocked and asked him to apologize to her. Years passed and Paul graduated from college with flying colors. His parents were proud and happy to attend his graduation ceremony. He began to apply for jobs and worked in a corporate office. However he wanted to begin a startup and lacked money for the same. However, he decided to work for a few years to save up some money. He quit the corporate job he had so that he could begin a new chapter in his life.  As decided, Paul found an office space and began setting up an office. He hired a few employees. Within a year, his company became  popular  which led to him winning “best startup of the year” award. Pam and her husband heard about this. However, Pam wanted to know more about the turnover of the company, profits etc. Gradually, Pam began demanding money from Paul for various needs she had. Paul knew the value of money since childhood as he saw the struggles his parents had faced while he was growing up. His father used to work three jobs a day so that he could provide for the family. His mother also used to have a part time job that paid very less but was enough to buy groceries for the house.
