Importance of hard work and money - Part 2

Years passed and Paul graduated from college with flying colors. His parents were proud and happy to attend his graduation ceremony. He began to apply for jobs and worked in a corporate office. However he wanted to begin a startup and lacked money for the same. However, he decided to work for a few years to save up some money. He quit the corporate job he had so that he could begin a new chapter in his life. 

As decided, Paul found an office space and began setting up an office. He hired a few employees. Within a year, his company became  popular  which led to him winning “best startup of the year” award. Pam and her husband heard about this. However, Pam wanted to know more about the turnover of the company, profits etc. Gradually, Pam began demanding money from Paul for various needs she had. Initially, Paul gave her money as and when she had asked. However, this didn't last long. 

Paul asked Pam to get a well-paying job so that she could earn money to spend on herself as well as to save up some for the future. She began shouting and making a scene. She told her parents how ungrateful Paul was and how she was sure that he would abandon them when he finds a spouse. 

Pam also told her parents that she is cutting them off from her life and no one is allowed to meet her children or husband for anything. Paul's parents were shocked and asked him to apologize to her. However, they soon understood where they went wrong with Pam and why she behaved in such a manner.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
