Motivating Short Stories

Mr. Gomez told about how Amanda's mother was acting like she was a Godly woman but the fact was that she was cheating on her husband with many men over the years and that she was a modern woman who always wore the disguise to fool the public.  Amanda was glad to get the news and wanted to tear off her mother's mask very badly. However, after the event, she spoke to Adam and shared all the information she gained from Mr. Gomez.  Within some time, Amanda heard about how her father had found out about her mother cheating on him and this affected their relationship very badly. He filed for divorce and had other charges filed upon Amanda's mother. Soon, she heard from one of her old friends from her hometown about how her parents got divorced and how nasty the process was.  It was so nasty that most of the relatives disowned both of them for making such a huge ruckus out of the divorce. Amanda was about to leave the place but her mother saw her and called after her. Amanda wore her goggles and faced her mother. Her mother was surprisingly dressed in modern clothes. She asked Amanda whether they knew each other and Amanda brushed it off by saying that she has never seen her. Her mother, even though surprised, nodded her head and walked away. Amanda saw that her mother was hanging out with Mr. Gomez. They acted as if they were a couple in public! Amanda was shocked to see this and decided to find out everything she had missed. Adam was shocked as well when Amanda told him whom she had met. As Adam was still doing business with Mr. Gomez, Adam decided to host a game evening at his place. He told Amanda to disguise as one of his staff members to assist on serving the beverages or to be the private bartender for the night so that she could get all the juicy gossip. Amanda felt as if she had found her freedom. As time progressed, both Adam and Amanda fell in love with each other and decided to date. Amanda completely focused on completing her education. Within a few years, she completed her post graduation and began working from home (she wished to create an identity for herself and wanted to work).  She worried that things might take a worse turn when she heard a familiar voice over the phone. Adam was speaking with Mr. Gomez over the phone about their business. She asked Adam why he was still supporting Mr. Gomez who had only tortured Amanda.  Amanda's parents and the Gomez family had tried to reach her phone many times throughout the years. However, she never replied to them and in fact deactivated the number as soon as she left the Gomez family house.  Amanda once went shopping in a mall. After parking her car, she walked into a branded apparel shop. Her face turned white as soon as she saw someone in the shop. It was none other ...

Amanda woke up and found that she was on a comfortable bed in what seemed like a luxurious and huge room. She was awestruck by seeing the bed she was lying on! It was a round bed which had frills and luxurious decorations.  She walked out of the room and towards the next room that looked like an office room. She saw Mr. Adams sitting and typing out something on a laptop. He looked up and his face lit brightly. With a beautiful smile, he asked if she was okay and had a good sleep. She nodded yes. Mr. Adam asked her to give him a minute to finish his task. After completing the task, he asked her whether she would have breakfast and what she preferred to eat. She said that she was fine with anything. Soon, two staff members entered the office room with a platter of bread and other condiments.  Amanda was shocked but enjoyed her food. She thanked Adam profusely and told him how glad she was to escape from the Gomez family. He sat calmly next to her and asked if she had any ambitio...

Amanda's life was becoming worse at Mr.Gomez's house. His wife and kids hated the new “trophy wife” as they called her. The woman ill-treated Amanda by physically and verbally abusing her. The kids were no good either. They also hated her for ruining their relationship with their father.  Amanda was quiet and endured the abuse. However, little did she know that her life was about to change. Mr. Gomez was hosting a party at his home and all the clients important to his business were invited. The irony is that no one knew who Amanda was. Mr. Gomez and his family introduced her as a maid at their house during the dinner.  However, one of the clients had his doubts regarding the same. Amanda was born and brought up in a strictly religious family. Her parents were firm believers of God and banned her from various things like wearing modern clothes, preventing from hanging out with friends by nightfall and so on. Amanda had a feeling of suffocation in her life but she was scared to raise her voice.  Her dad's friend, Mr. Gomez used to visit their house quite frequently for chit chat. However, the main intention he had was to see Amanda and to try and pursue her. She knew about his evil intentions and purposefully made plans or told her mother that she had to study for exams or go to church.  However, Mr. Gomez came up with a plan. He openly told her parents about his intention to marry Amanda. He said that his parents were getting old and that this could be his last shot at marriage. Amanda's parents found it as a golden opportunity to marry off Amanda to a rich household.  They forced her into marrying Mr. Gomez. However, Amanda found out that Mr. Gomez...

"Enjoying life" This terminology had different meanings. Some people say that they are enjoying life when they feel that they are going through the best moments in their life. Some people claim enjoyment in life as sitting at home, not working and wasting time.  ___________________________________________________________________________________ Kevin also used the terminology, "enjoying life". However, what he meant as enjoying life was relaxing with his family on weekends or going on short trips and spending some good time with his wife and kids.  However, even when there were tough times in his life like the loss of his dead dad whom he looked up to and was thankful for who he was, all thanks to his dad. Such a situation shattered him into pieces but the family stood strong and helped him grieve the loss.  Enjoyment in life just doesn't mean that there are more happy situations in your life rather than sad ones.
