Build your own life - Part 2

Amanda's life was becoming worse at Mr.Gomez's house. His wife and kids hated the new “trophy wife” as they called her. The woman ill-treated Amanda by physically and verbally abusing her. The kids were no good either. They also hated her for ruining their relationship with their father. 

Amanda was quiet and endured the abuse. However, little did she know that her life was about to change. Mr. Gomez was hosting a party at his home and all the clients important to his business were invited. The irony is that no one knew who Amanda was. Mr. Gomez and his family introduced her as a maid at their house during the dinner. 

However, one of the clients had his doubts regarding the same. He saw Amanda sneaking out of the house. When she saw him looking, she had pleading eyes. The guest, Mr. Adam excused himself and decided to walk towards her, near the entrance of the house. 

Amanda told him about her life with parents and how she reached the place after her marriage. The guy felt pity for her and told her to hide within his vehicle for a few minutes. Mr. Adam went back to the house and thanked the family for dinner, exchanged a few pleasantries and decided to leave. However, by that time, the family was looking for Amanda. 

Mr. Gomez never doubted his top client Adam. Hence, all the guests began to leave the place. Adam got in his car and began to drive. He talked but didn't receive any response. He checked on the backseat and found Amanda fast asleep.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
