Build your own life - Part 3

Amanda woke up and found that she was on a comfortable bed in what seemed like a luxurious and huge room. She was awestruck by seeing the bed she was lying on! It was a round bed which had frills and luxurious decorations. 

She walked out of the room and towards the next room that looked like an office room. She saw Mr. Adams sitting and typing out something on a laptop. He looked up and his face lit brightly. With a beautiful smile, he asked if she was okay and had a good sleep. She nodded yes. Mr. Adam asked her to give him a minute to finish his task. After completing the task, he asked her whether she would have breakfast and what she preferred to eat. She said that she was fine with anything. Soon, two staff members entered the office room with a platter of bread and other condiments. 

Amanda was shocked but enjoyed her food. She thanked Adam profusely and told him how glad she was to escape from the Gomez family. He sat calmly next to her and asked if she had any ambitions or dreams. She said that she wished to complete her education and had plans for higher studies while she worked. She told him that he helped her a lot and that she would find a place to rent out and then begin working somewhere so that she could figure out her finances and then save up for her education. 

Adam told her about how lonely he was at his place and all he had was the money and no one to love and care for him. He told her that she was welcome to stay and continue her education at his expense and it's the least he could do. Even Though she was reluctant at first, she agreed to his suggestion. He said that he won't restrict her from wearing any clothes she liked or from doing anything she liked.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
