The mailman walked to the house as her grandpa was tending to the plants. Both the mailman and grandpa had a chat and the mailman left following the delivery. Mel was inside her room reconsidering her choices in life. She stopped talking to almost everyone and began loving darkness. It was as if there was no meaning in her life… It was the lowest point of her life. Grandpa exclaimed happily and called for Mel. He received a letter from the university. As he knew Mel was upset, he decided to open and read the letter. The letter, addressed to Mel, shared that it was a misjudgment from the university and that she has cleared the exam with flying colors. Action was taken against the person responsible for mishandling her exam papers.  Mel was shocked and couldn't believe her eyes and ears. Mel was heartbroken to see that she didn't clear a subject. This confused her even more. She had worked hard on the exam that was postponed but it showed that she didn't clear the exam. She thought of it to be a mistake and reached out to the university.  Meanwhile, her relatives got wind of the news and hurled insults at her claiming that she wasted money and was a failure in life. The only relatives she was close to, looked down on her in disgust. She never imagined them, out of all, to behave like that to her. Her grandparents were shattered but we're supportive of her. Her teachers were shocked and agreed with her that there must have been some mistake and encouraged her to reach out to the university.  With a broken heart and last attempts to find out the issue, she requested the university to re-evaluate her exam papers so that they could identify the mistake and rectify the issue. Mel was invested and focused on her studies She was among the top three students in her class She had opted for her favorite stream, English literature and origin of modern language. She was excited to meet her new friends and was looking forward to learning a lot from her mentors. As she was a day scholar, she used to commute everyday from her rented home where she used to stay with other roommates. She also had taken up a part time job so that she could pay for her rent and university needs. Besides, her grandpa used to wire her little money every month in case she needed the extra money. Mel was very close to her grandpa as both grandparents took care of Mel since she lost her parents. The classes were smooth and years passed. It was time for Mel to graduate.
