How depression can destroy you & make you stronger - Part 2

Mel was heartbroken to see that she didn't clear a subject. This confused her even more. She had worked hard on the exam that was postponed but it showed that she didn't clear the exam. She thought of it to be a mistake and reached out to the university.

Meanwhile, her relatives got wind of the news and hurled insults at her claiming that she wasted money and was a failure in life. The only relatives she was close to, looked down on her in disgust. She never imagined them, out of all, to behave like that to her. Her grandparents were shattered but we're supportive of her. Her teachers were shocked and agreed with her that there must have been some mistake and encouraged her to reach out to the university.

With a broken heart and last attempts to find out the issue, she requested the university to re-evaluate her exam papers so that they could identify the mistake and rectify the issue. Two of the employees at the administrative office were kind enough to console her. They could feel how shattered she was and were shocked to see that she excelled in other subjects but failed to clear in that particular paper. They assured her that they would get it re-evaluated and get back to her at the earliest.

One week passed, two weeks passed and still there was no update from the University. Mel was so depressed that she hated to speak to anyone. She sat inside her room and wanted to bury her head in pillows and die. She even had thoughts of ending her life as no one other than her grandparents recognised her pain. She used to cry almost everyday. Her grandparents also used to hurt her while all the so-called relatives gloated and still believed that she was useless. She realized who actually cared for her and who didn't .
