Self-love is important - Part 2

Her world came crashing down and she was trying to process what Charlie has told her. Charlie had a smug look on his face. He smirked and asked both Mona and Victor to get out of his house so that he could bring in his new girl home. He opened his briefcase and threw out a paper on Mona’s face. It was divorce papers. 

Charlie told Mona that he would be kind and would allow her and Victor to live in the basement if she cooked food, cleaned the house and did all the maid duties for him and his new mistress. However, she would still get divorced and there was no way out from the same. 

Victor got up from the couch and walked towards his father with conflict in his eyes. He asked why his father was taking such a rash decision immediately. Charlie ignored him and told Mona that he hated their son. He told Mona that she had time until the next night to make a decision on what she would do along with her son. Charlie walked towards the main door and told Mona that he won't be back until the next night to hear their decision. 

Mona crashed on to the couch with tears flowing uncontrollably. Victor was shocked and speechless. After some time had passed, Mona got up and walked towards their bedroom where Charlie had his PC that was remotely connected to his phone. She browsed through it and found many explicit photos, videos and even text messages. Mona knew that she had struck a goldmine and took all of the evidence with her. She began to pack her clothes and other belongings while calling uo the movers. She also reached out to her brother, Johnson who was a leading divorce lawyer and informed the entire incident that had unfolded.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
