Motivating Short Stories

The products soon hit the e-commerce stores as it was exclusively available online. In a span of few months, the products turned out to be a huge hit. Mona and Victor moved into a bigger house Victor bought in a posh neighborhood. Life was going smoothly while the doorbell rang. Victor was about to go to his home office to work and brainstorm on some new ideas for products. He decided to get the door for himself. When he opened the door, he saw Charlie standing with a younger girl with a wide grin. Charlie rushed forward to hug Victor but he was furious. Charlie's girlfriend had a smirk on her face and she decided to hug Victor and touch him inappropriately when Victor suddenly moved away.  Charlie and the girl walked inside the house as if they owned the place. Many years passed and Victor grew up to be a successful entrepreneur who grew his start up to great heights. Mona was beaming proudly next to Victor during his interview. The interviewer praised Mona for her beauty and asked her the secret of looking so young. They even asked if she had Victor when she was a teenager. Mona just gave a smile while Victor held her close to him and thanked for all his success.  After Mona had moved into the rented house with Victor, she focused her attention on losing weight and caring for her body. In a span of  few months, Mona changed for the good. She began to care for herself while Victor had successfully graduated from college and had gone for a relaxing trip with his best buddies. Victor walked into the room and told Mona that he was sorry something like this was happening to her. He apologized for his earlier rude behavior to her and told her that he realized how that might have hurt her when Charlie was also insulting her. Mona hugged her son and told that she wanted to be strong for him and asked him whether he would be willing to move out with her the next day. Victor agreed and apologized profusely to his mom for being so rude.  Johnson had arranged a rented house for Mona and Victor to stay. He visited Mona and helped her and Victor to move out of the house with all their belongings. Johnson asked Mona not to sign the divorce papers as it was drafted with different clauses that benefitted Charlie. It was divorce papers.  Charlie told Mona that he would be kind and would allow her and Victor to live in the basement if she cooked food, cleaned the house and did all the maid duties for him and his new mistress.
