Jay was into aerobics and had done various courses on the importance of exercise and how it could be beneficial to health. However, he knew that people didn't have much knowledge about simpler things such as walking for health and how beneficial it could be. Hence, he decided to hold a debate and discussion on the same. For this, he had to approach various medical experts and health enthusiasts so that they would research the same and provide more information.
The event was a hit and helped many people gain awareness about the health benefits of walking. Some even asked how just walking could improve one's health rather than working out or going for high intensity workouts.
Walking mainly helps in increased blood flow. As the blood flow increases, the muscles begin to work and utilize the energy necessary. This avoids additional fat deposition in the body and burns the stored fat around the legs. This is the reason why people focus on burning the energy on one body part. For example, if someone has belly fat, they are asked to focus more on belly reducing exercises so that the fat deposited in and around the belly burns and the belly reduces.
