Kara had a habit of stress eating. It means that whenever she felt stressed out, she used to eat uncontrollably. This contributed to her weight gain, that too in an unhealthy way.

Once she collapsed in the office and became unconscious. She was soon taken to hospital to analyze the issue. The doctor spoke to her and identified that she had a stress eating disorder which entertained her unhealthy eating habits. How does eating healthy reduce stress, how to avoid stress eating, how to stop stress eating at night - these were her concerns after she spoke to the doctor.
To know this, the doctor told her that she should be aware of the fact - what is stress eating. He explained how different people react to stress and try to tackle it. Some people try to tackle stress by eating the comfort food they love the most. This would calm them down from the rising stress they face.
The doctor advised her to team up with a dietician and store healthy food at her home rather than packaged and processed food. This would promote healthy eating and could reduce stress eating. Consuming healthy food would gradually reduce the level of stress attacks.
Kara decided firmly that she would follow each word the doctor told her. In a span of a few months, she was able to lose the unhealthy weight she gained from regular workouts and from following a healthy diet.

Stress eating is a bad habit that needs to be curbed right at its initial phase. If the person is successfully able to tackle the issue, they can lead a happy and healthy life.
