Being Self-sufficient - Part 2

The bakery owner was really impressed by Jamie's hard work at the cafe and was glad that she was graduating soon. The graduation day was a colorful event and made Jamie's parents proud of her achievement. Jamie was in for a surprise when she met her cafe owner, uncle Tom. 

He handed over the keys of the cafe to Jamie and told her to share a portion of the profit she earns with him so that he could comfortably focus on his retirement life and survive comfortably. Jamie was ecstatic and humbly accepted uncle Tom's offer. She renamed the cafe as “Uncle Tom's Cafe” to honor uncle Tom who built the cafe from scratch.

As time passed, the cafe began to rise to fame. The cousins who made fun of her began to realize how the cafe was changing and was being accepted by the young crowd. Jamie opened up various franchises across the country and was way up in the profits. She bought a comfortable home for her loving parents who were proud of her achievements. 

Being humble and self-sufficient is very important in today's world. Those who sit and make fun of you either don't know what work you do or ignore ur success as it makes them burn with rage and jealousy that they couldn't succeed like you. 

Focus your attention on your life and goals. Only accept the advice of elders if it seems to be genuine and could help you in a good way. You can ignore other advice which might seem polished but might do more harm than good if implemented.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
