Struggles of families - Part 1

Jon and Sam were two best friends and had married recently. Jon’s wife, Jenna, was a housewife while Sam’s partner, Sara, was working a full time job. The highlight here is that they had planned and purchased properties next to each other within a span of a few years so that their families and kids could grow closer and help each other when in need. 

Jon was glad to walk back home as he was happy to see a clean, neat and cozy home with a smiling Jenna to welcome him with happy kids and a warm dinner. Sam had a different situation where he would pick Sara from her workplace and both return back home together. Sara would then freshen up, arrange the mess and cook dinner. Mostly, they used to rely on takeouts as Sara would be drained up after her work in the office. 

Both Jon and Sam used to visit each other during most of the weekends, especially Sundays to relax and chat over snacks or a meal. Jon and Sam thus discussed their life situations where Jenna took care of the kids and managed their house while Sara juggled between the kids, cooking and her home.

Sara shared about her frustrations with Jenna on how Sam never helped out in the kitchen while Sara, even though tired after work, cooked a warm meal for the entire family. Jenna shared that Jon was happy but there is no appreciation of the hard work that was put in to keep the house in pristine condition. Most ladies also made fun of Jenna saying that she remains unemployed and it would affect the finances of their family. Some advised her to get a job just like Sara and gain financial stability. 

Jenna and Sara knew how hard they worked for the family and both of them appreciated each other's work, shared parenting tips and recipes for cooking. Infact, they became besties and shared each and every thing that bothered them.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
