Katy was shocked to see how Sam communicated very well when they met outside the church after the prayer service. Katy was so impressed that she thought Sam might change slowly once they get to know each other well. Katy tried to ask for more time before marriage but her parents were strongly against it. They even advised her to get married and give them grandchildren at the earliest.
Sam and Katy finally got married and decided to relocate to another city as Sam had a great job offer. They had to skip their honeymoon. Katy also wanted to work just like Sam and was interested in finding a job so that they could have better savings for a smoother life. Eventually Katy also began working but their relationship was not at all working. The main issue here was communication. Sam just had basic communication with Katy and hardly gave her any love or attention a spouse provides. Katy felt that Sam was more or a room mate rather than her husband who had exchanged the vows.
As time passed, Katy became more depressed. She was worried to share anything with anyone within the family as they won't understand her situation. On top of that, the pressure to have kids was immense. Katy felt that she was in a trap and that there was no one else to help her and speak to Sam. Katy tried the best to communicate with Sam but he was either tired from work or was busy looking into his phone or watching the television.
