How mobile phone addiction ruins your life (3)

 Clara was on the verge of tears and told Maybel and Shaun on how shattered she was and how badly she fell out of love with Kay. She told how Kay changed to be a different man who seemed to live his life completely in the world of social media and ignored her for the last few months. She was unable to take it anymore and decided to take a stern decision. 

She decided to file for divorce. Maybel and Shaun offered to support her throughout the ordeal. The next Sunday rolled out. As a last request, Clara told Kay that he needs help desperately from a counselor to tackle his social media addiction. Kay just ignored her and continued staring into his phone. Clara angrily got up, placed the divorce papers under his car keys on the table and started packing. 

Kay was unaware of the situation as he was staring into the phone. Clara called the movers for the evening and began packing all her stuff. As evening rolled out, she got her stuff loaded and transported to her new apartment which she had found over the week. As she was employed and had to only take care of her, she was glad to leave Kay behind so that she could rest more and save up some of her money after handling her expenses. 

The next morning, Kay called up Clara demanding to know about why he was served with divorce papers. However, Clara decided to ignore his call and redirected it to her divorce lawyer. Kay tried to get into Clara’s social media to apologize but she ignored it completely. Kay also eventually agreed to divorce and it was finalized soon. 

Soon, Kay lost his job as he was more into socializing with others rather than working for the company. 

Mobile phone addiction could spoil your relationship rather than nurturing it. It is a fact that it helps you contact your friends and family who are far away from you without calling them. However, addiction to social media could be a very dangerous way to proceed forward in life.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
