Casey and Jenna's life was going smoothly when suddenly one day Jenna fell unconscious at her bakery. She was taken immediately to the nearest hospital. The doctors diagnosed that she has swelling within her brain as a result of her recent fever and chills. They advised that a surgery could only correct the issue and it needs to be performed within a span of three months for it to be very effective.
Jenna was heartbroken by hearing the news. Casey was calculating their finances, savings and all other streams of income. She decided to hand over the bakery to her neighbor, a sweet old lady who would monitor the bakery. Jenna was asked to rest at home by doctors. Casey soon came up with a plan. Jenna would bake all the cakes, cookies and other products by early morning. Casey would pick all of them up and arrange it in the bakery and wait for their neighbor lady to arrive. Jenna would then head to work.
The plan was going great and Jenna was saving up more than what she had intended. Within six months, Jenna was able to save up the amount needed for surgery. She was planning to claim the remaining money from her mother's health insurance. All the papers were cleared and Jenna went ahead with the surgery. It was successful.
Casey, instead of going home after her work, used to visit the hospital to care for her mother. One day, when Casey was walking into her mother's room, she was happily speaking to a young doctor. Casey thought nothing of it and decided to serve dinner for her mother.
Jenna told Casey about how she was speaking to the doctor and told how she knew him. The doctor was Jenna's bestie, Carol’s son, who was a two year old when Jenna had left her family. It was Carol who helped Jenna to sell her jewelry and buy a bakery that was about to shut down.
