A lovely Sibling bond! - Part 2

Dave successfully graduated from the University. However, he made sure that he kept in touch with his family, especially with his sister. He was lucky enough to get a job in the same city where he had completed his graduation. His grandparents were very proud of him and often used to host him to great food, good times and provide lots of love.

John and Jenna had planned a date and were out in some restaurant. Donna was at the house relaxing after completing her exams. However, an unfortunate road accident occured and took John and Jenna's life. Their immediate contact was Dave. He got a call from the cops about the incident.
He was so worried and shattered. He decided to apply for an emergency leave from his office and rushed to the city. The first thing he did was inform the grandparents about the mishap and told them that he would handle everything. The grandparents decided to accompany him as all of them were worried about how Donna would handle the news.

Dave asked his grandma to take care of Donna so that he and grandpa could handle the formalities required to procure the mortal remains of his parents. Donna was surprised to see her grandma at the door and hugged her happily. Grandma's shattered look made her feel that something was wrong. Grandma was reluctant to break the news of her parents passing. However, Dave had already requested grandma not to share the news with Donna and that he would share the news when she is calm and relaxed.

Donna asked why grandma looked so upset and asked where grandpa was. Her grandma gave a wry smile and told that she had certain health issues and grandpa, along with Dave, would return soon with medications. Donna was so happy at the surprise visit and was looking forward to meeting Dave.
