Mr. Woods, on the other hand, wanted his youngest son to find a job in the city like his other siblings. Due to the effects of global warming, the climatic changes became drastic. This started affecting the crops. The yields reduced and Mr. Woods became worried for their survival.
End of Part 1
Ferdinand and his best friend, Benjamin, started thinking of a solution. They were able to find out after research that growing certain plants under controlled artificial climate could help them in growing the crops without the climate's drastic effects. Benjamin spoke to Mr. Woods about designing a climate controlled area such as a greenhouse so that they could provide special attention to the crops that need to be protected from drastic weather.
As they had no high budget, Ferdinand decided to speak to his siblings. He asked them to contribute some money if possible so that they could help in making a climate controlled greenhouse for the plants. His siblings were graduated and two of them were already working while the third sibling was saving up to begin a startup company.
With everyone's help, Ferdinand and Benjamin did a lot of research and tried their best to make a climate controlled area for the sensitive crops. They succeeded in their mission and Mr. Woods was very grateful to both of them. He even offered them to work for him so that they could also earn money. Both of them saved up and bought two trucks. Ferdinand spoke to his father about selling the produce in the nearest town for money so that they could earn more. Mr. Woods was very happy that his son was proactive in his approach. He agreed and they started selling crops to the nearest town after selling it within the village.
