We should see beauty in everything - Part 2

 Kevin grew up to be a hardworking man who started taking up part time jobs since he was in high school. Even though his mother asked him to focus on his education, he was adamant that he would work as well as study at the same time. He added most of his earnings to the money which he started accumulating for his mother. 

Kevin, after completing his University education, secured a job in a corporate company. He felt that time had come to give his mother a surprise gift along with the surprise news that he got a highly rewarding job in a good company. He went to a jewelry store and decided to shop for a necklace and earring set for his mother with the saved up money. He also decided to buy a dress for her with the remaining money so that she could wear all of it together. 

He reached home with a beaming smile. His mother was curious to know the reason. He told her about his job which made her cry happy tears. He gave her the gift and helped her to open it. She was shocked and surprised to see such a gift. She asked why he wasted so much money on her. He replied that he wanted to thank her for all the sacrifices she had done to educate him and no gift would be equal for that. He also told her about his decision to help the poor people every week by cooking food for them and offering it to them so that they could have food wholeheartedly. She was so happy to hear all of it and thanked God that her son grew up to be a good human being.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
