Love for Adventure - Part 1

Mimi loved to face adventures. Since childhood, she was fascinated to know more about Mount Everest and admired the achievements of those who succeeded to reach the top. Her parents were very supportive of her and used to hike with her on top of a hill for every birthday. She always used to look forward to that time.

However, at her school, most children used to make fun of her and used to call her a weird kid for having such an ambition. Besides all of these, she was excellent when it came to sports. She used to participate in almost all of the sport events that were held and mostly used to bag prizes. Her best friend, Shane, believed in her and wanted to support her in making her dreams come true. 

However, after completing her schooling, she wanted to join the institute of mountaineering where she could get the training to climb Everest. She had to face harsh situations in the institute. She used to keep in touch with her best buddy, Shane, even when situations were tough for her. She was more determined than ever to make her dreams come true. 

There were mock training sessions. Initially, she failed in most parts of it but was not disappointed. Her strong will and intention to reach on top kept her going. She successfully conquered many smaller mountains with her team successfully in a span of many years. She got married, had kids but the support extended by her family kept her chasing after her dreams. She was the happiest when the opportunity came and knocked on her door. It was time for her to go on an adventure with her team. This was a golden opportunity and giving up was equal to death for her.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
