What are work values? - Value of social work

 Each job has its own importance, may it be to work as a janitor or to be the CEO of a company. Work values are certain qualities, standards and principles one should have in order to qualify to work for the post. For eg; Someone who is unaware of cleaning the premises cannot work as a janitor. However, with some training, they could make an attempt. This is not the case with specialized jobs. Someone without medical qualifications cannot work as a doctor or nurse. They compulsorily need such qualifications and proper training.

Mandy was a social worker who helped out women and children and protected them from various issues within the family as well as the society. However, Mandy also worked other jobs as he understood the value of working. For him, each job was important and deserved respect. He had helped many women in earning their livelihood as they had faced abuses within the family or society. 

He had also helped many kids who were orphans and saved a gang of kids from the begging mafia that was actively working within the city. Besides all of this, whenever he had time, he used to enlighten the youth by speaking about the value of working hard and striving to survive in the competitive world.

The above story tells us how important each work is. Every work has its own value and deserves respect.  No job is less relevant than the other.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
