Life is a game - Part 2 - How Ian's life changed for the best?

 Ian handed over the file. Mr. Evans was shocked once he opened the file. He stared at it for some time and then spoke out, "You… you were the CEO of a company??? But how? How did you become homeless?" 

Ian told about how his trustworthy friend and partner in business cheated him and snatched everything he had. Ian was young and successful. He worked hard to build up the company which is now popular and was in demand. Harry was jealous of Ian but was full of evil intentions. In a span of a few months, he befriended Ian. Soon, he became the partner of the company. He made fake documents of everything Ian owned and threw him out of his own house and office. 

Ian was on the streets. Once Harry saw him begging on the streets. He laughed at Ian like a maniac. "I cheated you and snatched everything from you.  Do you know why? It's because I hated you. I hated the growth you had in your life. Even in college, you were the topper. Everyone likes you and admires you. I wanted all the attention and I wanted to see you beg on the streets. Ha ha ha…." He started laughing like a maniac. 

"I had confidence that I could start right from the beginning but I had no resources and nothing to help. The only thing I had with me was my education certificates and experience certificates. I valued it like anything." 

Mr. Evans saw confidence and strength within Ian. "I will hire you as a senior employee here as you have good experience. You can use all your work experience and prove your caliber. If you succeed in this, I will help you establish your own company. Our companies could then work together and you could prove to the society about your worth."

He was feeling dizzy. He was thirsty and couldn't find water anywhere. After having a bite of stale bread, Ian got up and started begging for money. He visited the park looking for a job as a janitor but everyone shooed him away. Kids used to run when they saw him. He used to sit and cry cursing his fate. He suddenly heard the maniac laugh of Harry. 

Ian woke up from his sleep. He was sweating profusely. He got up from the bed and poured water into the glass. He hurriedly drank it and thanked God. "Thank God, all of it was just a dream! Now I have a roof above my head. I will work hard and prove my worth". 

Ian was over the moon when he thought of how kind Me Evans was and how he gave an opportunity to prove his worth. In a year, the company's profits skyrocketed. As promised, Mr. Evans helped Ian open up a new company.

Ian's success began and he worked hard so that he would become more successful. Life is not always a bed of roses. We have to walk through thorns. It would hurt and bleed but we should continue walking until we reach the destination. Fruit of labor is always sweet.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
