How to enjoy a sunny day, especially during vacations?

 

Everyone likes to spend a sunny day by being fruitful. Some prefer to relax while some prefer to make it productive, may it be a vacation or a working day. Vacations are mostly spent with family either by taking a trip or by relaxing at home with extended family meetings and fun time.

Joy was different from all of that. He preferred to work hard everyday so that he could save up money and help the poor. He always gave value and respected all kinds of work, may it be to work as a driver or being a techie. He was an orphan and grew up with other children and hence has many friends. He was lucky enough to study well and bag an excellent job in a big corporate company. However, after returning back from the office work, he used to drive a food truck with his best bud, John and sell street food from evening until late night. John used to set up and run the stall if Joy was late. Joy saved up money and helped John set up a food truck. He also helped him in working together with him. On Saturdays and Sundays, both Joy and John used to work in shifts for a popular packers and movers company and used to help them move stuff. Joy used to overlook the entire move while John used to help load and unload things from the truck and set them up at the desired place.

Both Joy and John believed in working hard. Both of them were working hard to earn money and set up a restaurant so that they could serve poor people along with others who loved to try out home cooked food. In a span of a few years, they were able to crack a deal. They bought a restaurant that was about to go bankrupt and modified the entire place. They revamped the menu, the interiors and almost everything. 

In a span of a year, the place was buzzing with people. John and Joy used to make sure that they cooked extra food. After they close the restaurant for the day, one of them used to pack all the extra food made and the other used to drive around the city and deliver food packets to the poor and needy who were on the streets. 

Within the next year, they were able to open a shelter for the poor where food and accommodation was free. They even provided warm blankets and food to the poor people who wished to stay on the streets and not at the shelter. 

The above story could be an inspiration to many. While most people spend their sunny day doing things they like, these two best buddies did things that most people would fail to even ponder about.

How adopting a poor boy turned out to be a blessing! - Part 1

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
