Sally had a tough life since childhood. Her parents used to do odd jobs to earn money for daily bread. Sally managed to complete her school education but had no financial help from anyone to enroll in university. She always believed that staying strong and working hard would help her as well as her family in surviving the hardships of life.
She started working as a janitor in a hospital as well as a restaurant. However, what she earned merely helped her in taking care of her parents and in feeding them. They were growing old and were unable to work as they had various minor health problems.
Her mother used to bring her leftover soft bread and pastries. Her mother used to bake it at the house where she had worked. As the people were kind, they used to allow her to take leftover pastries and bread to her home so that she was able to feed both Sally and her dad.
Sally's mother had told her once about her dream of preparing such bread and pastries and selling them for money. Sally wished to make her mother's dream come true. She took up a night shift job at a call center so that she could earn enough money to buy raw materials and invest in a family run bakery.
She managed to save up some money to buy a refurbished laptop. She ordered the raw materials, learned the recipes from her mother and made a small batch of bread and pastry to try it out. Her mother was so happy that it turned out to be tasty and great. Soon, Sally started selling breads and pastries online. What began as a small family run business turned into a pastry shop. Sally was able to purchase the land nearby. She built a pastry shop and started selling pastries and breads. Besides, her online business flourished and she even began selling it to huge restaurant chains that served fresh breads and pastries.
