Do you love children? Love your children...

Everyone loves children and they do care for their children. Loving and caring for children is human nature. it is not just human nature but also could be found among animals and other plants. People could reach to any ends to protect and care for their children. People might even sacrifice their life for their children. However, do we do the same for our parents? The simple answer is a strong NO!

Our parents are ready to sacrifice anything for us but why don't we do anything for our parents? Why do we think of them as a burden (and not their assets) and ditch them in a dark corner of an old age home to remain unloved and ignored? I am not speaking about everyone but the majority of people do this as they lack time and hate to care for elderly. 

Isn't it our responsibility as a child to care for our parents when they are old, just like how they cared for us when we were just infants? Don't you think we have to "return the favor" of educating us, caring for us and even guiding us to become an independent individual?

Ray was happy with his job and used to visit his parents during all weekends. His parents used to look forward to him visiting and used to make plans like preparing for an outdoor barbeque, having a family pool party and so on. Ray was also excited to visit as his parents used to prepare for such events as a surprise to him. Life was smooth but the happiness didn't last long as Ray's girlfriend, Sia hated the idea of meeting his parents.

Sia had everything planned out. Ray and Sia got married as Ray's parents knew how he loved Sia. However, Sia told Ray on how irritating it would be to visit his parents every weekend and they should visit her family instead. Ray knew how Sia hated his family. However, before long Sia started controlling Ray. She told Ray to enrol his parents in old age shelter, sell their home and buy a posh villa for both of them to stay. 

Ray hated this idea but Sia threatened him to divorce if he rejected her wishes. Ray was forced to send his parents to shelter. He soon forgot about his parents as he was glad that he would be a dad soon. However, little did he realise that the same thing would be repeated and he and his wife would be sent to old age home by his own son!

This is circle of life or what is known as Karma. Whatever deeds we do, may ur be food or bad, might come back either

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
