Sammy and Jordy were close friends. They knew each other since their childhood and were neighbors. Their parents were college mates as well which made both their families closer to each other. Sammy and Jordy were in the same high school and lived to play video games. They had their own gaming console and used to wait for new games to be released so that they could play the games using multiplayer mode.

Both their parents thought that they used to play games together and had just an ordinary friendship. However, Sammy and Jordy were close friends. Whenever Sammy used to get bullied at school, Jordy used to give back to the bullies and help Sammy out of the mess. Likewise, Sammy, being the bright one in the class, used to help Jordy with his lessons and assignments. They even used to hang out together, visited malls, video game rental stores, eat and go for short trips outside the city. 

Once during such a trip, Jordy was on the wheels of the bike while Sammy was a pillion rider. A car swiveled out of its way as a truck was ahead and hit the bike. The bike flew in the air and crash landed. Jordy had a serious head injury and was bleeding out while Sammy got away with a fracture and mild bruises. Sammy's instincts got hold of him and he decided to carry Jordy to hospital to save time rather than to wait for an Ambulance. 

Luckily, the hospital was just a block away. As soon as the authorities saw Sammy rushing inside the hospital with Jordy who was covered in blood, they immediately took him in and started the treatment. Sammy reached out to his parents as well as Jordan's. However, after making the phone call, Sammy passed out due to exhaustion. 

Sammy also received necessary treatment for his fracture as well as the bruises. When he woke up, he saw his parents by his side who were worried. He was informed that Jordy was undergoing a major surgery that would decide his fate. 

Everything went smooth and Jordy recovered from the accident in a span of a few months. Jordy and his parents were proud of Sammy and were thankful towards him. Sammy just said that he would do anything for his best buddy and that is the real power of friendship.
