What is more important than valuable time?

Time is valuable in this modern world. Some consider that time is more valuable than money while for others money is more important than anything else in the world! It is known as valuable time for a great reason. Lost time cannot be retrieved back. Hence, all of us should consider utilizing time for doing important things.

Shane knew the value of time as he worked from home and had to attain targets to reach his goal and thus earn money after completing each project. As he had pets to take care of, he preferred freelancing to be his ideal profession as he could work comfortably at home and help his pets fulfill their needs. 

He was a popular website designer and his work was greatly praised by various clients he had. He used to set targets and tried to complete them on time. He even had allotted extra time to cross check and verify his projects so that there is no error and if at all errors were found, he could rectify it within the deadline. 

Once, a huge project came into his hands. He thought that seeking help of some other freelancers could ease out his burden. However, once he made up the target, goals and spare time for checking errors, he felt that he could complete the entire project all by himself. 

His work was almost done and time had come to test the website designs he made. Unfortunately, one of his cats fell off from the balcony and broke his legs.  Shane was shocked when he saw everything happening in front of his eyes. For him, his cats were everything. He immediately decided to rush to the vet. However, he also happened to grab his tablet so that he could sit and work at the Vet's place when his cat undergoes the treatment. 

The vet told him that the cat needed to undergo a surgery to fix his legs and other organs that suffered damage. Shane was too worried and was at the verge of breaking down. However, once his cat, Simon was wheeled into the operation theater, Shane was in tears and prayed for his cat to survive the hard times. His client's message on the update in the work brought him back to reality. 

Shane decided to walk to the coffee shop next door and carried out the testing of his work. However, everything was fine and he was able to handover the project on time. His client looked forward to a video call but Shane explained how his cat was undergoing a life saving surgery. The client was very supportive and offered any help if needed. However, Shane politely told that his cat was in good hands. 

In a few minutes, his client walked into the hospital and sat beside Shane. Shane was shocked and surprised to see his client. The client explained that  he owned the animal hospital and he figured out about the on-going surgery. The client was extremely happy about the work Shane had done. However, the client also showed surprise and praised the commitment Shane had towards his work as well as his pets.

The story told us how valuable time could be for everyone. We shouldn't waste time by not doing anything. Make each moment on this earth useful.
