Safe driving - Do you drive safe?

Most people are unaware of what is safe driving or just ignore the fact that they should drive safely to reach their destination without harming the other drivers. People are usually in such a hurry to reach their destination that they often forget to follow traffic rules like speed limits, red light halts, using indicators and brakes wherever necessary and so on.

Merlin wanted to own a car but was not that rich to buy a new one she wished to own. However, her mom gifted her old Chevy to Merlin as she could drive it to commute to and back from work. Even Though Merlin was not that excited, she accepted the gift as it would help her save time rather than relying on some public transport. 

Merlin got used to driving the Chevy in just a week. One of her friends, Celia, cited some urgency and asked her if she could borrow Merlin's Chevy for running an errand. Merlin handed over the keys instantly without any thoughts. However, Merlin never knew that Celia was a rash driver and had crashed her own car recently which is why she had borrowed Merlin's car. 

Celia was drinking in Merlin's car and driving it. Unfortunately, Celia drove it so carelessly and fast that a truck rammed into the car and was damaged beyond repair. When Merlin heard the news from her mom whom the cops had called, she was shocked to the core. She rushed to the spot and was relieved to know that Celia was alive and was wheeled into emergency. However, the car didn't survive the crash. The trucker had minor injuries and spoke to the cops. He was a friendly guy and advised Merlin to never hand over the car keys to any friends other than own family. 

Celia's parents were apologetic and offered to buy a new car for Merlin. Celia also apologized and swore to never drink and drive rashly.

The above story tells us how important it is to attend a safe driving course even before you start driving on the roads. Everyone should make sure to drive safe so that they could evade any possible accidents and save lives.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
