Why is loyalty important?

 Claire owned the top diamond chain of stores and the best mansion in the country. She had many personal servants for fulfilling both her personal and official needs. May was loyal and faithful of them all who knew almost all the secrets Claire had. She considered her more as a bestie rather than a servant.

Claire was admired among her circle of friends. However, she had many competitors and one of them, Shane, wanted to find out the strategies and methods she implemented to successfully carry out her business. Shane had made a lot of plans to find out the secret but he had failed in all of them. However, Shane made another plan which he was hell-bent on executing successfully.

Shane arranged a gang of people to threaten and kidnap Claire herself. However, some of the members got confused, mistook May for Claire and finally ended up kidnapping May instead of Claire. 

May was terrified and  shocked but kept her calm. Shane was angry that the gang was unable to get hold of Claire rather than May. However, He knew that May was Claire's close confidante and she might know of all Claire's trade secrets. 

May had her mobile phone on silent mode and called Claire discreetly. As Claire answered, she heard Shane questioning May about Claire's secrets. May was as quiet as a mouse and kept quiet. Shane was getting more angry and irritated. However, May's loyalty towards Claire helped her to remain quiet even after Shane's men tortured May for answers. 

Claire decided to reach out to cops and track the location of May. Soon the cops arrived at the scene and helped May. They also arrested Shane and his men for questioning and carrying out further legal proceedings. 

Claire was glad and happy that May was quiet and had even endured a lot of pain to remain loyal to her. May was immediately taken to hospital and was given the best medical care she could ever get. 

Thus May's loyalty towards Claire was proved. If we think of how to define loyalty, it is an act of being truthful and transparent to whom you work for and stick to their ideologies, whatever might happen or influence you.

Loyalty towards the people whom you work for could help you go ahead in life and help you and others around you to be happy.
