What is knowledge? Who said knowledge is power?

 Jane lived to read books right from her school days. She became more interested in writing a book on her own. However, she graduated and started working as a manager of a grocery store.

She had set up a mini library of her own at her house and used to buy books with the saved up money she had made from her work. Life was smooth for her until she met Shaun, a gaming addict who streamed his games and earned money. Shaun walked into the grocery store to complain about how the home delivery they offer is not punctual. Jane talked to him and solved the issue in hand. However, Shaun started visiting the grocery store frequently rather than continue with home delivery of the products. 

He admitted to Jane when confronted that he was stalking her as he felt attracted to her. Jane, however, mentioned that she was not interested in anything other than friendship. Shaun managed to find a friend in Jane and soon they started meeting and hanging out. When Shaun visited Jane's place, he was surprised to find a library at her home and asked why she is so fond of reading and he had felt that books were too boring and not for him. 

Jane explained to him how books can be different just like game genres, how she gets entertained when she reads certain books just like how excited Shaun feels when he plays games. She told him how books could be one's companion and help get past tough times. She also told him how some books would keep you glued and interesting that would make the person feel the need to finish reading the book. 

Shaun was surprised but wanted to find out how exciting books would be. He started to create a small DIY library at home and got books that were of his interest.  Soon he found out how interesting books were and turned reading into a hobby.

Books help in gaining knowledge. Knowledge is power and when we convert the knowledge into action, changes take place in the society for the good. Gaining knowledge will help people impart it to others. Reading habit should be nurtured and maintained by each person.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
