What is the Importance of research? The importance of research...

 Research, may it be any matter, is very important to understand and learn more about any particular topic. Specific and detailed knowledge could be achieved through continuous and consistent research.

Mr. Jacob was an avid researcher who focused on climatic changes and studies related to the same. He was curious to know in detail on how sudden climatic changes took place and how it had an impact on humans. He carried out years of research for various answers and to come into various conclusions. However, to identify and know the facts, data collection or sample collection from the spot, meeting up with various researchers who research on similar topics etc plays a very important role. Me. Jacob, however, kept himself away from human contact and carried out his research. 

Even after years of research, he was unable to conclude or come up with a solid proof for the dramatic changes that take place in the climate. He realized the mistake he made. He never collaborated with anyone  or discussed about his research in detail with any of the experts in the field so that they could draw a conclusion together. 

After discussing with few of the experts in the field, he found how meaningful certain areas of his research were and how he could improve it and which direction the research should proceed.

As mentioned in the above story, research becomes very important even when it comes to deciding on simplest of things. For example, if we plan to buy a smartphone, we would carry out a small research, compare various brands of phones and pick the best one that would suit our needs while sticking to the budget we have. This shows us the importance of research.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation. He was just 15 years old when such a shocking incident left him devastated.  He roamed around in the nearby town in search of a job, food and shelter.
