Why is kindness important?

 Lindsay had a helpful mentality and was kind to others. However, few friends around her were utilizing the kind nature she has. They would act as if they are broke and have no money at all for fulfilling even the basic necessities.

Lindsay had longed to go on a vacation for a long time. Her friends also wanted to tag along with her. Being a kind hearted and helpful girl, she allowed them to accompany her. They decided to take advantage of the opportunity. One of her “so-called friends” saw her wallet on the dashboard of the car and decided to “take” some money for themselves when Lindsay had gone to buy some snacks for all of them to eat. Everyone kept quiet about the incident. Lindsay realized that she kept the wallet on the dashboard of the car. She came back, grabbed the wallet and went back to pay. 

She found that the cash was missing from the wallet and paid using the card. She thought that she misplaced the cash elsewhere. She has a hobby of checking camera footage. She happened to check the camera footage and couldn’t believe her eyes! She was furious at the sight of her “friend” stealing from her. Soon, she found out that all her “friends” were faking their misery and were only after her as a “friend” for the sake of money. She took a strong decision to cut them completely out of their lives and filed charges for theft. She even received compensation as she had “solid proofs” (video evidence of various instances where her “friends” were stealing money from her wallet without her knowing) of theft.

Never take advantage of kindness. Never take kind people for grated as well. We should be thankful for kindness we receive from people (may it be in any form).

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
