What does it feel when a food lover is traumatized?

 A food lover doesn't necessarily mean a person who overeats and keeps on overeating. 

Summer loves to eat food and considers herself a foodie. This doesn't mean that she loves to eat any type of food. She has her own preferences and likes.

She loves to hang out with her friends and explore new food joints that offer different types of food, may it be fast food, Indian, Italian, Chinese or any type of cuisine. Most of her acquaintances even find out about new spots through her Instagram photos of different eateries. She usually explores the food spots with her bestie, Marie. 

However, some of her colleagues are envious of her as they wonder how she manages to find time to explore such spots and enjoy amidst the busy life at office they have. Birthday celebrations are a common occurrence in the office space where Summer works.  

Some of her colleagues decided to play a mean prank on her. On the day of her birthday, they ordered a lot of food along with cake. Once Summer had cut the cake, the colleagues came near her and started happily shoving the food to her mouth forcefully. The other employees who were watching were shocked and dumbstruck on the action of these mean colleagues she had. However, one of the employees took a video of the entire celebration, along with the video of horrible act. 

Summer was shocked at how the colleagues rudely behaved with her. The colleagues soon found out that they were in trouble as they expected other employees to encourage them rather than stare at them in shock. The management decided to take action against her colleagues. They tried to justify that she was a food lover and they thought that the best gift they could give her was to stuff a lot of food into her mouth and meant it only as a "harmless prank". However, everyone thought this statement was a nonsensical excuse to avoid stern action. 

The management apologized to Summer and told her that they took severe action against the colleagues who traumatized her.

Foodie or a food lover means someone who loves to explore different cuisines excitedly. They are just like explorers who crave to explore and find various locations and experience it. Food lovers too, love to explore various food items that belong to different cultures, enjoy the taste and relish it. 

Respect others and value their hobbies as long as they don't interfere in any of your personal lives.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
