How to tackle anger? Anger management is the answer...

Joe has a bad habit of getting angry in an instant. This habit he possessed made people around him hate him. Some of the juniors in the company he worked with were scared of speaking to him.

“Here is the file sir. I hope it is curated based on your needs.” said an employee who was a new hire. Joe started getting angry as soon as he started browsing through the file. “What have you done? Is this what I told you to come up with? Don’t you know anything? Were you not trained well yesterday on how to handle files like this? Are you stupid? You are fired!!!” Joe started hurling abuses at the employee.

Unfortunately for Joe, the CEO of the company heard some commotion going on in Joe’s cabin. He decided to check the CCTV footage where he found Joe hurling abuses at the new hire. The CCTV had audio recording as well. Mr. Goodacre, the CEO, had heard a lot of complaints from other employees on how Joe was. Even the HR had discussed the matter with Mr. Goodacre.

This incident was soon discussed among the employees and Joe was fired from the company with immediate effect. A case was filed by the company against Joe with video and audio proof as a means of protecting the rights of the new hire who was victimized by Joe.

The above story is an example of what would happen if one cannot control their anger. We should show respect to others and help them correct the issues in a workplace. Not just in the workplace, getting angry in personal life could have its own consequences that are different. Hence, try to be polite and respectful to everyone.

Have a great day and stay strong :)
