How hurtful insults could be to others?

 David was ignorant and not considerate about others. He used to insult anyone and  everyone that was working with him. He owned a chain of popular hotels and had strictly ordered his staff to serve only people who looked rich and had class and status in society. Somehow, he managed to become successful among the elite society and used to host various events in the hotel. However, the employees who worked in the hotel were underpaid and ill-treated as the managers hired were only bothered about keeping up the good name and reputation and in return to get a hike in their salaries.

Sam has been working for David’s hotel chain since its beginning. It was becoming tougher for the employees to continue working in the hotel chain as the elite guests made their life a living hell. Hence, all of the employees requested Sam to meet David but David outright rejected. Sa waited outside his office and was determined to meet him.

“Mr. David, please listen to our requests. As a representative of the staff members of the hotel chains, I wish to speak to you”, said Sam. “Who gave you the permission to come here? Get out of my sight or Do you want to work for free? Okay. I will grant your request. From now onwards, No one would get paid for any kind of work they do. No one can take leave or off and will have to work round the clock. The managers will decide the shift and timings”, spoke David as he rudely and arrogantly walked out of the office.

However, David’s fate was cruel to him. He got into an accident and became disabled. Soon, his hotel chains got affected. The managers were found to be a part of huge embezzlement of money and were arrested. David called Sam and other employees to stay for a good salary package but no one was interested in remaining working in a sinking hotel.

Insulting others won’t bring anyone good. People get treated just the way they treat others. If you are rude and cruel to others, never expect anyone to respect you.
