How helping others through good deed helps you back?

 Sally had a helpful mentality. She used to offer financial help, food, clothes etc. to the poor and needy who were on the streets She wished to open a home for such people so that they are taken care very well. One day while Sally was walking to her job, she met a pregnant woman sitting on a bench all alone and crying. Sally was curious to know why she was so but was running late for her work. The pregnant woman looked fine otherwise. Hence, Sally decided to walk away. However an unsettling feeling rose up within her heart. During the lunch recess, she walked to the area to find if the woman was still there but couldn't find the woman. Sally walked back, had her lunch and completed her work. It was late evening as Sally was walking back to her home after work. She was shocked and surprised to see the same pregnant woman sitting on the bench, weeping. Sally decided to approach the woman.

"Hello, You seem to be all alone. If you don't mind me asking, is there anyway I can help you with anything?" asked Sally with concern. "Oh! I have been waiting for my boyfriend. I am surprised that only you came up to me to speak. I have been sitting here since morning. If you don't mind, could you please lend me some money so that I can stay somewhere for the night? My boyfriend is not responding to the calls and texts I have sent him." spoke out the woman with a hint of sadness in her tone. Sally told, "My house is nearby and I live alone. You can stay at my place for the night if you are fine with it." The woman told, "That would be a great help. I don't know how to thank you enough for saving me and my child from this chilling climate".

Sally and the woman walked to her place and had a cup of hot chocolate near the fireplace. She learned that the woman's name was Penny and she had travelled with her boyfriend for his job interview as she felt it was not safe for her to stay alone at a place they had rented. However, it looked like her boyfriend did not respond to her. As Sally was of good heart, she allowed Sally to stay at her place for the time-being. Penny received a text from her boyfriend that day saying that he loves someone else and is not interested in taking care of Penny or her baby. He also mentioned in the text not to contact him anymore. Penny was heart broken and she was unable to withstand the stress. Her water broke and she reached out to Sally for help. As Sally was at home with Penny, She immediately took Penny to the hospital. Penny gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Sally helped out penny for three months by taking care of the baby and helping Penny to find a job. Penny started working from home and eventually thanked Sally and moved out of her place. Penny was very thankful to Sally and they kept in touch for sometime. However, Penny became busy with her son and her work life and she began to grow distant with Sally.

After some time, Sally got married to an abusive guy who only wanted Sally for her money. He had affair with younger woman and decided to kick Sally out with nothing from her own house. Sally had no one to help her out. She walked through the streets and found the bench from where she had met Penny. Sally sat there, closed her eyes and remembered the people she had helped. She thought to herself, "No amount of good deeds done could help me..." 

A soft tap woke Sally up. "Are you okay? Do you need any help" asked a small boy in concerned voice. He had a dog with leash. Sally smiled at him. "Where are you my son?" Sally heard a woman's voice that sounded familiar to her. It was none other than Penny's voice! Penny walked towards her son. As she saw Sally, she recognised her instantly. "Sally, Is that you? Are you okay? What happened to you, dear girl?" Penny was surprised and shocked by seeing Sally. Sally tried to hide her pain and gave a smile. Penny took Sally home and asked her to speak about her issue. Sally shared about how her husband mistreated her, stole all her money and property and kicked her out for his new girlfriend to live in Sally's house. Penny was furious but had a plan on how to get back at Sally's deceiving husband.

Penny worked hard and became a successful lawyer. She decided to take legal action against Sally's husband. Eventually, Sally got back all her lost money, assets and even sued her husband for causing mental trauma.

So shines a good deed in a weary world! Just one good deed is enough for you to get back help when you need it in life.

Jacob grew up in a torn down house with his parents. He lost his house and parents in a flash flood that jolted the entire nation.
