How hard work pays off...

Jason had a good quality of working hard from a young age. Due to his hard working nature, he graduated from a prestigious university and started working in a company. There were many new hires in the company who got hired along with him. However, as time progressed, Jason got promoted in the company due to the hard work he put in and the progress the company had made. Hayden, however, was jealous of all Jason's achievements.

Hayden was next in line to become the CEO of the company as he was the CEO''s son. He always had a grudge against Jason and had planned to fire him from the company when he would take over the company from his dad. Mr. Goodman, the CEO of the company, hired Hayden as he wanted his son to learn everything about working hard and climbing up the corporate ladder so that he could be handed over the position of CEO one day.

One day, Hayden got drunk and walked into the office. He started fuming when he saw Jason hard at work. Hayden got angry and punched Jason on his face. He said, " You think you are smart? Why do you act every time that you work hard? You are nothing but a useless guy. Get out of my office and never come back. You are fired and I will make sure that you won't get hired anywhere else in the industry. You can clean toilets for all I care!"

Hayden continued punching Jason on his face as his nose started bleeding out and many cuts appeared due to punching. Mr. Goodman rushed to the spot and hit Hayden. He said, "What do you think you are doing, Mr. Hayden? How dare you assault a valuable employee? Explain yourself!" Hayden said, "Dad, I am doing you a favor by throwing this useless junk out from the company. Don't you want our company to succeed?

Mr. Goodman said, " You are fired from the company with immediate effect, Mr. Hayden. We I'll make sure that necessary legal actions would be taken against him for assaulting our valuable employee". Hayden was seething with anger. He said, "Why did you fire me? What wrong did I do? Throw that Jason out. He acts as if he works hard but he doesn't do any work"

Mr.Goodman said, " I am the CEO of this company and I wanted you to work here like regular employees so that you learn how to respect others and work hard to succeed. However, I have failed in doing so. It may be because you are my adopted son whom I shouldn't have spoiled."

Hayden was speechless. He was soon disowned by his father. For Jason, he worked hard and climbed the corporate ladder. He succeeded Mr. Goodman and has successfully doubled the profits of the company.
