Mary loved to bake cakes since childhood. She grew up with her grandparents where she saw her grandmother bake different cakes. Some cakes used to go well with tea while some others with frosting was ideal for celebrations. Her parents wanted nothing to do with her and it was her grandparents who decided to take her in and care for her as their own.
Mary never knew what had happened to her parents. Her grandparents taught her to be caring and compassionate. She loved helping poor people however possible. She used to share her food, give them water and play with the kids who were otherwise ignored and uncared for. Her grandmother owned a family bakery and used to bake cakes to sell.
Mary asked her grandmother whether she could make cakes or provide leftover cakes to the poor who lived in the neighborhood. Her grandmother was impressed and readily agreed. Life was going smoothly in the village when a disaster struck.
